I spoke last night at the E. C. Green Cancer Center at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, KY (about 60 miles north of Nashville, TN). For a rural area, this center is at the top of its game with state-of-the-art technology and some of the most warm, caring, and professional staff I’ve ever met.
After the presentation, a cancer survivor told me that when her husband was terminally ill, he was very much at peace, and that he was not afraid to die. In fact, she said he was so excited about going to Heaven, he said, “I’d rather go to Heaven than to Opryland!”
We should all be so confident about our life, our death, and anything else we pursue in this world. That’s the Do it Well, Make it Fun philosophy.
